擁有USCG船長照的沈船長試航Tayana37
這是我一個瘋瘋的大學同學
擁有兩個博士學位
目前一頭栽入帆船運動
除了考取USCG船長外
也在米國舊金山灣區擔任US Sailing的帆船教練
一番尋尋覓覓之後
還是相中了MIT的Tayana37...台灣製造
經過一連串的檢驗與議價
近日完成試航並議完價格
付了錢後這艘漂亮的Tayana37
就要開回未來停泊的母港囉.....別想太多...當然還是在米國灣區
近日也可能會參加美西帆船盛事 Baja Ha Ha
期待中
也恭喜沈船長.....那個字唸"ㄕㄣˇ"....千萬不要唸錯了

嗨 快樂豬你好 沉寂了一陣子 都沒經營 也沒來打招呼 現在稍微醒了 呵~ 買中古的嗎 準備停哪裡?
這一台....未來當然會放在三藩市囉...因為沈船長家就在那邊所以....不用開車去坐船....要坐飛機去啦......害我們又得開始唱I left my heart in San Francisco.........
大洋這艘船口碑相當不錯,但我英國朋友上次交船後,卻幹得要死,目前大洋不把Tayana37當主力船隻,有些裝配部份委由外包或經驗不足的人執行,若直接於臺灣完成選配,要多去監工督導施工品質,避免夢想受措,要不然就在台灣完成基礎船,再回美國完成選配安裝,會比較專業,個人意見提供參考,另這型船Tony很有研究,不彷請教他!
這台應該排在媽祖號前面很多號因為這不是全新的船...係二手啦在試航後也確認品質還是有掛保證所以也不用擔心裝配的問題啦多謝大哥指點

Add some information about rigging: as far as I know, Tayang usually ship boats without a rigging (spar, standing rigging and running rigging). All of these works are finished at the dealer of destination. Guess Tayang might not have that much of an experience on putting the rigging together. It might be the trouble on Mazu. Last time one guy here ordered an T47 and asked to be delivered at Taiwan (he later sailed it back to the US), the dealer and the buyer flew to Taiwan with all the riggings and stayed there for almost a month to put it together themself. Sailboat rigging is not straight forward and it can be customized. It is hard to order many marine parts at Taiwan. Michael is right. Tayang still make T37 but this is not their focus now - they can't make much money. The price is about the same or even more than their T42. If you like Tayang's boat, their T42 and T47 are all very good boats with a reasonable price. T42 is also call Vancouver - one of the most successful cruising boat on the market. T47 is a Bob Perry design - so as the T37. Its a performance cruiser with good modern line.
